Nobody Wants This star Tovah Feldshuh said “tensions are NOT RISING” amid her recent criticism of costar Adam Brody.

Brody recently expressed his support for “a free Palestine” and said he believed Israel was committing genocide.

Feldshuh previously slammed his characterization, saying “to accuse the Jewish people of genocide is wild.”

Nobody Wants This star Tovah Feldshuh has denied rising tensions with her costar Adam Brody.

Following her criticism of Brody’s remarks about Israel and Palestine, Feldshuh took to social media to clarify that their political differences would not impact their professional environment.

“Tensions are NOT RISING,” she wrote in a Threads post on Saturday. “Profound differences of opinion are. Please do not conflate the two — And none of it will be brought to the set. I deeply enjoy filming NWT and hope we are chosen to go on for a fourth season.”

Entertainment Weekly reached out to representatives for Nobody Wants This creator Erin Foster and Brody for comment.

The 77-year-old plays Bina, mother to Brody’s Rabbi Noah Roklov, in Nobody Wants This, which just premiered its third season. Earlier this week, Feldshuh pushed back at Brody’s recent comments saying that Israel was committing genocide against Palestinians.

“To accuse the Jewish people of genocide is wild,” Feldshuh, who is Jewish, told The New York Post on Monday. “It’s right out of Hitler’s playbook. You take the victim and you make the victim the perpetrator.”

Echoing the opinion of a United Nations commission of inquiry, Brody told GQ last month, “Put me down as thinking it’s a genocide. Put me down as wanting a free Palestine.”

The 46-year-old, who is Jewish, added, “It’s awful that it’s taken so much death and misery, but it does feel like it’s reaching a breaking point that it should have a while ago. I’m hopeful that another administration can really do some good and correct some of these policies that are helping that situation be as awful as it is.”

While she shared her disagreement with Brody, she also previously said that she would not let it impact their work on the show.

“My job, as Bina but also as Tovah, is to love the people on set at my place of work, to be kind,” she said.
